Frequantly Asked Questions about the Forums

Purpose

To provide a place on the internet where people who are in or who have had bad relationships, or lack of relationships, a place to converse.

1. Q - What are the rules of conduct here?
A- There are NO rules of conduct on the main public forum. This means that
there are no rules to be violated, and therefore, no one can be banned for
anything they say. The public forum serves as the ultimate in freedom of
speech. In other words, anything goes.

2. Q - What happens when posters spam?
A- It is possible that posters may spam the forum from time to time.
Administrators will do their best to delete spam to declutter the forum as
time permits. Admins are not obligated to delete spam that clutters the
forum, but may do so at their own descretion and as time permits. Spammers
will not be banned for spamming so please keep this in mind.

3. Q- How do we get spammers to stop spamming?

A - People spam because they want attention. Think about it, they don't have time for anything else but to be annoying. Most have very sad lives. Do not give them any attention and they will get tired and go away.

4. Q - What if someone posts information about me that is personal?
A - It is strongly advised not to reveal ANY personal identifying
information about yourself whatsoever on this public forum for all to read.
Anyone who chooses to post on this forum posts at their own risk. The
internet is full of possibly dangerous people and this forum is definitely
no exception. Any personal information that you deliberately or
accidentally make available for all to see on this forum is your
responsiblity. The administrators may at their discretion, and as time
permits, delete personal information posted, but requests to delete
information will not be taken. Again, post at your own risk.

5 Q - Is HTML enabled on this forum? Should I look at any URL's provided by
posters on this forum?

A- HTML is disabled on the public forum. This was done to eliminate the
posting of porn and/or links to other annoying files or computer damaging viruses.
The Admins of this site are not responsible for any damages incurred by any
poster by exploring a URL's posted on this forum by another poster. Please
be careful when exploring URL's and do not explore or look at any URL you do
not recognize as safe. Please be advised that admins may delete URL's to
porn or nudity posted at their discretion. Remember that the purpose of
these forums (stated above) is not for porn or nudity. There are other
websites and forums for that.

6 Q- What if I don't like the things that are said on this forum or the
people who post on this forum?

A- Short answer- you can leave the forum. Long answer - As was stated
earlier, this forum is the ultimate in freedom of speech. If you seek a
more controlled forum, you are invited to register for the Moderated
men/women forum where there are rules of conduct that everyone must abide by
(please read the rules there) or the Women-Only forum. Things tend to be
calm and less hostile on those two forums.

7. Q- Why are there so many men posting here?
This forum is an open forum. That means that anyone who can access this site is fere to post here, male or female. Often times, there are more men posting here than women, and sometimes there are more women posting than men, so please be aware of this. This cannot be controlled. If you seek a more controlled environment, please see question 6 above. Sometimes women complain that the sites title is misleading to women, but please keep in mind that this site is meant to be light-hearted, and since the public forum is an open forum, it does attract hostile posters from time who are free to say whatever they want. Please take the time to observe the atmosphere and environment of the public forum first before deciding to post there for the first time. Otherwise, it will be safer for you to register for and post at one of our other two IHateMen forums mentioned in #6

8 Q - What if I have a complaint or suggestion for the forums?
A - Complaints will only be answered with a $1 donation to the site.
